PLATINUM is the reissued and expanded version of American artist xxavv’s third studio album, Love. It was first released on May 31, 2024, through YouTube, and later issued to streaming platforms in a finalized form on August 23, 2024. PLATINUM also marks xxavv’s first album released under his independent label, xxavvMusik, which was founded in January 2024 and began actively releasing music in March. The single "End Up Like Me", released on May 26, 2024, served as both the third single from PLATINUM and xxavv’s first official release under the new label.

Initially envisioned as the final entry in a four-part album series (Love: BLUE, Love: RED, and Love: PLATINUM), the other planned installments were ultimately shelved. Instead, PLATINUM became the definitive second and final chapter in the Love era, blending material and emotional themes from the original project with new recordings.

The first edition of PLATINUM was released exclusively on YouTube and spanned nearly two hours in length, combining songs from both Love and PLATINUM with several alternate versions and revisions. The streaming edition, which followed on August 23, presented a more polished and cohesive version of the project. It featured 9 new songs and one extended mix, condensing the concept into a finalized 10-track experience. Upon its YouTube release, the project quickly attracted attention, surpassing 200 views on its first day.

The album was supported by three singles:

• "What A Beautiful Day" – released April 22, 2024

• "All For You" – released May 12, 2024, as a Mother’s Day dedication

• "End Up Like Me" – released May 26, 2024

To promote the project, xxavv launched the LoveMania SummerShows, a 13-date livestream concert series running from June through August 2024. The shows highlighted a more theatrical and expansive side of xxavv’s performance style, blending tracks from Love and PLATINUM. The series drew a cumulative 297 viewers, averaging around 23 viewers per show.

On November 22, 2024, xxavv released LMSS: THE MOVIE, a 90-minute concert film compiling footage from all 13 livestream shows. The film was produced in collaboration with xxavvMusik, xxavvM3DIA (his production company), and the digital broadcaster TVLA. A live album, LMSS: THE LIVE ALBUM, followed on December 10, 2024, featuring hand-picked live renditions of songs from across xxavv’s discography.
